We will hold your personal information on our systems for 7 years unless otherwise requested by you.
•Anonymous "Non-personally identifiable information" (such as information about how users log on to our website).
We use Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
How is your information used?
If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence and use it:
to contact you to make an appointment;
to confirm and follow up your appointment, or if need be, contact you with any changes regarding your appointment or cancel it;
to keep you informed on availability, premises changes, specials and offers;
notify you of changes to our services;
send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest to you;
If at any time you wish to no longer receive emails from us, please simply email to opt out.
Who has access to your information?
We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.
We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We will not release your information to third parties unless you have requested us to do so or unless required to do so by law.
brooklynwellnessMCR sends out a monthly e-newsletter. All clients, as well as those who have inquired about services, are added to this mailing list as it of legitimate interest. If at any point you would like to stop receiving these updates simply email to opt out.

Access to Your Personal Information
You are entitled to access the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer at info@brooklynwellnessMCR.com.
When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. Our databases are password protected. Non-sensitive details (your email address etc) are transmitted normally over the internet and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, though we strive to protect your personal information we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. All paper documents and records are kept in a secure, locked cabinet.
There will now be an additional declaration form to complete stating that:
There has not been in contact with anyone with Covid-19, in the last 14 days, to your knowledge
There have not been any symptoms: dry cough, temp over 37.8°C, loss of smell and/or taste
Should the client contract the virus you must inform the therapist as soon as possible
Depending on timing we may need to contact other clients possibly affected, and to self-isolate.
There will also be a signed declaration from the therapist stating the same declaration.
All first-time and follow-up consultations will be carried out either on the phone or via video conferencing rather than during the treatment session.
